500 g extra lean beef mince
250 g Vetta Smart protein shells or any pasta (changed)
500 ml low-sodium beef stock
250 ml marinara (tomato pasta) sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp salt optional
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 cup cream up to 1/2 cup (changed)
1 cup shredded cheese (mild cheddar or mozzarella)

Method

1
In a large deep skillet or pot, brown the beef mince over medium–high heat.
2
Once browned, drain the fat.
3
Add the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir for about 30 seconds to bloom the spices.
4
Add the dry Vetta pasta, the 500 ml low-sodium beef stock, and the 250 ml marinara sauce. Stir so the pasta is mostly submerged.
5
Bring to a boil, then immediately reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for 12–14 minutes, stirring halfway through to prevent sticking.
6
When the pasta is tender and the liquid has thickened into a light sauce, remove the pan from the heat.
7
Stir in the 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt and the 1 cup shredded cheese until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is silky.
8
If the mixture looks too dry, add 1–2 tbsp of hot water or milk to loosen the sauce.
